12 March 2018 - UNE Visit

On the 12th of March Granite Belt Honey started our week running an information session for students attending a six-week Australian Government funded agribusiness course developed by the University of New England and RuralBiz Training for people from PNG and the surrounding islands.

This is the second time we have had a visit from this lovely crowd and it is always rewarding. There was a tour and demonstration of our extraction room, plenty of questions, a variety of honey available for tasting, a smoked meat smorgasbord prepared by staff member Jason and of course the star of the show Isabelle running around delighting people.

This wonderful initiative provides business training to developing businesses over the straight and Granite Belt Honey is proud to be a part of the program.
